Robert L. "Bob" Mast Bob was born and raised in Wataga County, North Carolina near the mountain town of Boone, and never forgot his roots. After retiring from a distinguished Military career in 1969 at the rank of Major, Bob started his real estate career with a local office and later opened MAST REALTY in 1975. Bob's wife Kitty later joined the business and enjoyed a wonderful career helping many of her friends and their families realize the American Dream until she retired in 1994. Bob's two sons, Steve and Charles joined the firm in 1978 and 1980 and continue in Bob's footsteps today. Bob was a very active member of the Marina United Methodist Church and served on numerous commettees with the Monterey Peninsula Board of Realtors throughout his career. He was a Charter Member of the Marina Rotary Club, a past president and a double Paul Harris Fellow serving since 1979. Bob was also a member and past president of The Marina Chamber of Commerce since 1975 and together with his wife Kitty, were actively involved in Marina's incorporation. "SERVICE ABOVE SELF" was more than a moto for Bob, it was the way he lived his life that he was so well known for here on the Monterey Peninsula. Bob went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2005. |
